The Chatteris Midsummer Festival occurs every year uniting the townsfolk and giving them a chance to celebrate the summer with their own style of family fun, music, arts and community spirit. The festival starts on Saturday morning with a parade through the town centre leading down the Furrowfields where the event last until Sunday afternoon. Additional events include Viking and Victorian re-enactments, majorettes, sports day, pet shows, cake decorating and many more.
